The MSI Beat It! 2013: Overdrive Reloaded, one of Metro Manila’s most anticipated eSports events, is set to take SM City North EDSA by storm this weekend. Happening from August 30 to September 1 at the Annex Event Area, the affair will be a huge gathering of cosplayers, gamers, PC enthusiasts, and mall goers from all walks of life. The eSports event will include tournaments featuring games like Assault Fire, Avatar Star, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dragon Nest, DOTA 2, Mercenary Online, and StarCraft II. The event will also host a cosplay competition (Avatar Star and Dragon Nest) and a rig modding contest. Participants will get a chance to take home more than PhP 500,000 worth of cash, PC hardware, and gaming gear prizes. Additionally, the champion of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament will represent the country at the MSI Beat It! Grand Finals in Shanghai, China.
