Calling all Filipino photographers. Have your best photograph seen by the world in the new Sony World Photography Awards National Award competition.
The National Award will uncover and honour the best single image by a Filipino photographer. The winner will be chosen from entries by Filipino photographers entered into the ten Open categories of the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards.
Judges
A winner will be selected by a special judging panel duly appointed by Sony Philippines and Astrid Merget, Creative Director of the World Photography Organisation.
Prizes
The winner of the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards Philippines National Award will receive:
1st Prize
Sony α7 with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm F4 ZA OSS
2nd Prize
Sony α7 with standard kit lens
3rd Prize
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10
Winning image exhibited as part of the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition at Somerset House, London from 1 -18 May 2014 and on www.worldphoto.org
Please note, the National Award competition is open to all photographers entering the Open categories of the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards. Once you enter the Open competition you will not be able to enter the Youth Award or Professional competition.
To be considered for the competition, you must be a Filipino national.
