Picture Perfect Online Challenge! Share and inspire us with your PHOTO and you could win a trip to New Zealand.
Mechanics:
1. The competition is open to all photography enthusiasts and professionals, 18 years old and above. Employees of Manila Bulletin, NZIHS, Canon, advertising and promotional agencies and their family members are not eligible to join the competition.
2. Participants should submit images that portray the spirit of fun and experience of traveling (which could include landscape, people, events, or culture).
3. Entries should be submitted digitally (at least 9 inches x 6 inches at 72 dpi) and must be in JPEG format, in color or black and white.
4. Each participant can submit up to 5 entries and must include the following information: photo title, place and date taken; name, address and contact numbers and email address.
5. Minor digital modifications are allowed (i.e., cropping, levels, brightness, contrast, color balance, curves, and the like); no watermarks, borders or frames, adding or subtracting elements not within the original photograph.
6. Finalists shall be notified through email and advised to send higher resolution files (9 inches x 6 inches at 300dpi) via email.
7. All winning entries are considered as property of the contest organizers. Ownership of the photos shall be retained by the photographers (to be given proper credits upon publication) but shall give MB the right to use the photographs for promotional purposes.
8. All participants shall grant MB the right to publish photographs in the “Photo of the Week” (print edition) or “Photo of the Day” (online edition).
9. The decision of the judges is final.
10. Prizes are not convertible to cash.
11. Submission of entries starts on December 18, 2012 and will end on March 15, 2013.
